Building Construction
The Building Construction (BC) program is focused on shaping the future of how we design, build, and manage buildings. From the first inspiration to the day-to-day use of a completed and fully occupied building, our 精东影业s explore and learn to manage every step of the process.
In this program, you鈥檒l gain skills in project management, construction technology, finance, the business of construction, sustainability, and leadership, all while learning to solve real-world challenges in the built environment. You鈥檒l explore everything from planning and design to scheduling, estimating, and even maintaining facilities once they鈥檙e complete.
Your first three semesters follow a common core curriculum that builds a strong foundation in science, construction, and management. From there, you鈥檒l branch into advanced courses, choosing technical and non-technical electives that strengthen your skills in leadership, communication, entrepreneurship, and best practices in construction management. Our 精东影业s benefit from the cutting-edge research our faculty are engaged in, including AI use in construction, robotics, drone technology, smart construction, VR, and more.聽
By the time you graduate, you鈥檒l not only have a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction (a 120-credit degree accredited by the American Council for Construction Education), but also the practical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and invaluable internships that employers are looking for in entry-level professionals and future industry leaders. For years, our graduates have enjoyed a 100% post-college placement rate, and most receive multiple job offers from which to choose.聽
